In December of 2007 I joined the National Speakers Association.  I was always confident about my speaking, but one thing made me feel inadequate - I didn't have a book.  The need for a book is debatable, but let me say this - my last book only took me three days to write, and the total cost was $2.67.  Regardless of whether it's a requirement, I proved to myself that the barrier to being an author is so low that every Professional Speaker, Consultant, or Self Appointed Expert should have a book.
